We come to your place
Περιγραφή
A home visit consultation is ideal when daily routine, environment, or mealtime behavior significantly affect feeding. 1) Observation in the Pet’s Environment • Assessment of the feeding area and behavior during meals • Identification of factors affecting appetite and food intake (stress, routine, feeding station setup, competition from other animals) • Evaluation of body weight and body condition (BCS) 2) Comprehensive History Taking • Review of medical history and recent diagnostic results • Identification of symptoms or nutritional challenges (e.g., reduced appetite, gastrointestinal issues, allergies, overeating) • Evaluation of feeding habits, products used, and feeding practices (food, treats, supplements) 3) Needs Assessment & Immediate Guidance • Calculation of energy and nutrient requirements based on clinical findings and goals • Practical adjustments implemented immediately at home (routine, portion sizes, feeding frequency, multi-pet management) • Guidance on appropriate commercial and/or homemade diet options 4) Delivery of a Personalized Nutrition Plan • Written plan sent via PDF/email within 2–3 days • Includes: recommended foods/alternatives, portion sizes, feeding frequency, transition guidelines, and specific recommendations 5) Support & Follow-Up • Recommendation for reassessment when needed • Option for phone support or online coordination for plan adjustments Why choose a home visit consultation? A home visit consultation allows nutritional assessment and planning to be based on the pet’s real daily environment. By observing the living conditions, feeding routine, habits, and practical details, we can identify factors that often determine the success of a nutrition plan. This ensures that recommendations are not only accurate, but also realistic and easy to implement. At the same time, conducting the session in the pet’s familiar environment significantly reduces stress—especially for cats or animals that become anxious during clinic visits—and allows us to observe behaviors that may not appear in unfamiliar settings. It is also an excellent option for senior pets, animals with mobility issues, multi-pet households, or owners who need hands-on, practical guidance on-site. Please note that home visit consultations are subject to appointment availability and your location. Contact us for more information.
