Welcome to our website. We are Asterios Doukas and Apostolos Samaras, a team of military veterinarians with academic and professional expertise in both veterinary medicine and clinical dietetics and nutrition.

We believe that the nutrition of every animal is not merely a daily need, but a fundamental factor for health, well-being, and quality of life. With appropriate scientific guidance, proper nutrition can contribute both preventively and supportively to the management of clinical conditions.

Our goal is to become your nutritional ally, offering evidence-based and individualized nutrition plans tailored to the needs of each animal. Our approach applies both to healthy animals at different life stages — growth, reproduction, pregnancy, lactation, and senior age — as well as to animals with specific clinical or nutritional requirements.

Our many years of professional experience with military dogs have shown us in practice how important proper nutrition is for an animal’s health, endurance, recovery, and overall performance.

For us, every nutrition plan is a collaboration: with the attending veterinarian, but above all with you, the person who cares for your pet every day.

The idea was born from a conversation between us about how we could transform and share our knowledge and love for veterinary medicine and nutrition through a common venture. It quickly took shape when Apostolos spontaneously referred to us as... NutriVets!
